Value a client’s dollars as if they were your own. Create work you’re proud of. And remember that humility goes a long way. It’s these principles that inspire Axiom as it continues to create its own legacy of successful projects. BUILDING ACROSS WESTERN CANADA
Axiom is active in both commercial and residential construction with offices in Calgary and Vancouver. Both cities are supported by management general contractors and tradespeople who’ve been part of the Axiom team – and trained in the Axiom way – for decades. THINK LIKE A DEVELOPER.
Long-term relationships with developer clients have taught us to be forward-thinking and to make decisions with two things in mind: improving every building’s overall functionality and respecting our clients’ bottom line. GREAT WORK. NO COMPROMISES.
We’re committed to partnering with our clients to ensure things turn out exactly the way they want them – the first time – without cutting corners. Ask anyone who’s worked with Axiom and they’ll say the same thing. KEEP OUR WORD. ALWAYS.
In the early days, our contracts were sealed with little more than a handshake – the same goes today. Axiom’s reputation for honesty and fair dealing is well deserved, and we work hard every day to maintain that.
BCIT’s School of Construction and the Environment offers a wide range of courses and programs that are concerned with the natural environment, the built environment and the relationship between them. The areas of study span the construction, environmental and renewable resources sectors, providing industry-respected credentials with a focus on the issues of today and the future: sustainable development and environmental stewardship, housing and habitat technologies, natural resource management, building science and construction management.
The School offers certificates, diplomas, and bachelor’s and master’s degrees that lead to careers as skilled tradespersons, technicians, technologists, professional engineers, and managers. The focus on applied education and hands-on training, as well as industry partnerships, results in programs that are relevant, current, and that produce graduates who are truly job-ready.
EllisDon’s Vancouver office has undergone many changes since having been established fifteen years ago. After a few economic downturns, Vancouver has risen to claim success over circumstance. Today, its evolved into one of the most ethnically and linguistically diverse cities in Canada. To accommodate this, we focused on developing industry links and a solid employee base. These relationships proved to be vital components of our area presence.

HOW WE DIALOG
We take a collaborative approach to designing, with our communities and the environment in mind.
Working together to solve complex challenges.
We believe the diverse perspectives and expertise of our multi-disciplinary teams position us to tackle today’s challenges in ways others can’t.
Designing to improve our communities
We believe design can, and should, meaningfully improve the wellbeing of communities and the environment we all share.
To demonstrate the link between design and wellbeing, we partnered with The Conference Board of Canada for research-based evidence.
In July 2018, a joint research report from DIALOG and The Conference Board of Canada titled, Community Wellbeing: A Framework for the Design Professions, and the free Community Wellbeing Framework report, were released to the public.
Constantly pursuing design excellence
To us, design excellence means creating places that positively impact the end-user as well as our environment. When we do our work well, we’re able to create a sense of place that functions intuitively and eliminates barriers. It’s about challenging the status quo, striving for constant improvement, and being continuously curious.
We’re proud of the work we do – and even more so when others recognize the impact we’re making.
We are an award-winning industry leader in the construction of residential high rises, mixed-use developments and select commercial projects that range in size from $1 million to $250 million. We have made a significant impact throughout communities in Western Canada for over 30 years through our focus on quality construction and quality relationships.
We’re a diversified construction company, made up of teams of people who are proven in their industries. All working to design, build, transport, operate, and maintain projects all over North America. But we believe that projects are about more than concrete and steel. They’re about people and the power of partnerships. Partnerships with our employees, our communities, our contractors and clients.
We believe in building trust in the places where we do business—whether that’s by engaging honestly, by giving back, by putting safety first, or by looking for smarter, more sustainable ways to get the job done right.
