Seema is a partner in the Construction and Infrastructure and Commercial and Business Litigation practice groups at Singleton Reynolds and is focused on the negotiation and preparation of construction contracts, procurement issues, builders’ liens, disputes; and construction dispute resolution, including delay and extras claims. She seeks to provide strategic legal advice to assist her clients in making informed and effective legal and business decisions.

She is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Construction Lawyers, an association of lawyers who are distinguished for their skill and experience in the practice or teaching of construction law. Seema regularly provides lectures and seminars, including for the Independent Contractors Association of British Columbia, Buildex, Vancouver Regional Construction Association, Pacific Business & Law Institute and the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC. She was also previously an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia for engineering students – Legal Aspects in Engineering Practice.

Seema believes it is important to provide women in the construction industry with opportunities to connect, support and empower one another. She has been a member of Canadian Construction Women for over 10 years and held the position of Director of Community before moving into the Vice President role in 2022. She became President of the organization in 2023.
